The Boil Water Advisory issued on Tuesday morning for two Leitchfield streets has been lifted.

Leitchfield Utilities Superintendent Dwight Embry said water samples taken from several locations for testing were “free of contamination.” The advisory was issued for Sequoia Drive (from Mill Street to Commanche Way) and all Commanche Way.

Embry said the Energy and Environmental Cabinet, Division of Water, approved lifting the advisory, which was issued after a main water line break.
