One person has been killed in a three-vehicle accident in Hardin County.
Hardin County Sheriff John Ward said the accident occurred at approximately 8:40 Wednesday morning on Deckard School Road, in Rineyville. One of vehicles involved in the wreck was a dump truck.
One of the victims, a male driver, was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Another driver, a female, was initially transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital before also being airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
