The Lady Cougars snapped a two-game losing streak Monday evening in Owensboro as they defeated the Daviess County Lady Panthers 59-48 to improve to 15-6 on the season.

Senior Kenzie Renfrow just missed a double-double night with 22 points and nine rebounds. She also added seven assists and five steals in the game.

They led by nine points, 36-27 at the half.

A 6-0 Daviess County run cut the lead to just four points, 42-38 with 2:42 left in the third period and the Lady Cougars held that advantage, 44-40 heading into the final period of play.

A Renfrow three-pointer with 5:16 left to play capped a 9-3 Lady Cougar run that extended their lead to 10 points,  53-43 and the Lady Panthers were never closer than seven points the rest of the way.

Rachael Snyder finished the night with 14 points and five rebounds, while Bailey Snyder had nine points. Riggs and Annie Kiper both finished with five points. Jenna Nash and Ella Robinson closed out the scoring with two points apiece and Robinson added seven rebounds.
