Bluegrass Cellular is accepting applications for the 2020 Bluegrass Cellular Scholarship Program.

Bluegrass Cellular will award $18,000 in scholarships to local college-bound high school seniors in  central Kentucky. The deadline for students to apply is Monday, April 6.

Twelve students will each be awarded a $1,500 scholarship, according to the company. Awards will be given to students based on academic achievements, school/community involvement, scholarship essay, letters of recommendation and financial need.

“Bluegrass Cellular has always valued the future of our community,” said Barry Nothstine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bluegrass Cellular. “Which is why we are eager to grant 12 college-bound seniors this year scholarships to help further their educations and reach their career goals.”

To be eligible, applicants must live and attend high school within Bluegrass Cellular’s 34-county home-service area. Scholarship winners will be notified in April.

The application and complete list of guidelines are available at https://www.scholarship.bluegrasscellular.com.

Interested applicants can also pick up applications from their school guidance counselors or one of Bluegrass Cellular’s Customer Care Centers. To find the nearest Bluegrass Cellular Customer Care Center, visit bluegrasscellular.com/locator.
