A Spencer County homeowner has fatally shot a would-be burglar.
Kentucky State Police said that Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:30, 27-year-old Kyle Story, of Louisville, illegally entered a home in 4800 block of Plum Creek Road, about five miles north of Taylorsville.
KSP’s initial investigation showed that the home’s owner shot and killed Story inside the residence.
No charges have been filed. Kentucky State Police continue to investigate.
