Shellie (Lucas) Dodson, age 87, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away at her residence Thursday, March 12, 2020.
She was born in Breckinridge County, KY May 25, 1932, daughter of Robert and Rainy (Clark) Lucas and was married to Claudie Dodson. She was a Housewife and attended Madrid Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; a daughter, Lois Faye Buntain and a brother, William Lucas.
Mrs. Dodson is survived by 5 children; Brenda Joe Miller, Bonnie Sue Dodson, Jessie Karen Blair (Jerry), Ronnie Eugene Dodson (Shirley) and Shirley Gain Cook (Dennis). Other survivors include several Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, 1 sister; Loraine Carman and 2 brothers; Phillips Lucas and Barney Gene Lucas.
Visitation: Sunday, March 15, 2020, from 3-8 PM CDT; Monday from 9 –11 AM CDT at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home.
Service: Monday, March 16, 2020, at 11:00 AM CDT at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home with Bro, Ronnie Blair officiating with burial to follow in Holly Cemetery.
