The Grayson County School District has updated its Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Day procedures as day 10 of NTI work nears completion.

In a letter distributed to parents, the district said with most students having enough NTI work to last until day 15, schools will provide students with enough work for NTI Days 16 through 30 when distributing work to students over the next week.

“This is a precaution to decrease contact of our staff and families during (the) COVID-19 (outbreak) while providing enough work if needed through May 1,” the letter says.

Additionally, the district is also no longer requesting that students drop off completed assignments at their school, as school officials will collect the assignments at a later date.
