Josephine Lorene Powers, age 62, of Hartford, KY, passed away Wednesday, (May 20, 2020) at Hartford Nursing and Rehab in Hartford.
She was born on October 23, 1957 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Walter and Fadetta Wilson Patterson.
She was a delivery person for the Courier Journal. She loved playing computer games and BINGO. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her two sisters, Ruby Kay Southard of London, KY, and Mary Carpenter of Montana; a sister-in-law, Rita Patterson of Louisville; and five nieces and seven nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Earl Patterson, and her sister, Shirley Patterson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, (May 25, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Bro. Aaron Wilson will be officiating.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
