Kentucky State Police is investigating the drowning death of an eight-month-old baby in Allen County.
Police said that Thursday afternoon at 1:37, troopers responded to The Medical Center at Scottsville after hospital personnel reported an infant had died of an apparent drowning. The baby was pronounced dead at the hospital.
An autopsy was scheduled for Friday morning.
The death investigation continues and is being led by KSP Detective Shae Foley.
