The mysterious seeds that have been shipped unsolicited across the U.S. have been identified by the U.S Department of Agriculture.

The department said there were 14 varieties of seeds sent around the nation, including fruit, vegetable, herbs, and flowers, among other commonly found plants.

Ag officials instructed people who have received the seeds, or receive unsolicited seeds in the future, to keep the seeds and contact authorities. The Department of Homeland Security and FBI are working to determine if the seeds pose a risk.

Ag department officials said anyone who receives seed packages should keep them and contact authorities. The department added that the FBI and Department of Homeland Security are working to determine if the seeds pose a risk.

The USDA previously said its likely the seeds are part of a “brushing scam,” where people receive unsolicited items from a seller who then posts false customer reviews to boost sales.
