The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects on drug charges during a traffic stop.

Sunday night at approximately 10:30, Sgt. Zane Greer conducted a traffic stop on North Main Street in Leitchfield on a 2001 Dodge Neon with an expired registration plate and no working brake lights. The vehicle was earlier in the evening the subject of a reckless driving complaint in Clarkson, according to the arrest citation.

Greer made contact with the driver, 31-year-old Bradley W. Toler, of Munfordville, and his passenger, 28-year-old Robert L. Hoben, of Bowling Green, and determined Hoben had warrants for his arrest.

According to the citation, Toler “seemed to be under the influence of drugs.” He was given a field sobriety test and arrested.

Toler consented to a search of the car, with Greer and Deputies Sean Fentress and Rick Mehlbauer locating a baggie containing “several grams of methamphetamine,” according to Sheriff Norman Chaffins. Neither Toler nor Hoben claimed the drugs.

Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), with Toler also charged with DUI and Hoben served with a failure to appear warrant. The suspects were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Hoben remains in the detention center, while Toler is no longer listed as an inmate.
