A suspect has been arrested in the murder of a man in Elizabethtown in early September.

Jalen Williams, 21, of Louisville, has been charged with the murder of 23-year-old Juwone Doleman, of Danville. The murder occurred Sunday morning, September 6 at a residence in the 600 block Westport Road. A woman was also shot and is recovering from her injuries, according to a report by The News-Enterprise.

Police said at the time that the shooting was not random.

Williams, who also had warrants for robbery and wanton endangerment out of Jefferson County, was arrested Friday afternoon in Louisville by Louisville Metro Police and the U.S. Marshals Service.

The newspaper reports that, according to a warrant obtained from Hardin District Court, Williams allegedly stole an unknown amount of cash, a handgun and jewelry belonging to Doleman. Additionally, he stole the woman’s cell phone.

In addition to the murder count, Williams has been charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence. He’s being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $1 million cash bond.
