Late Wednesday afternoon, the Clarkson Police Department, assisted by the Grayson County Sheriff's Office and Grayson County Detention Center, obtained a searched warrant for a residence located in the 300 block of Clifty Avenue, in Clarkson.

During a search of the property, Clarkson Police Chief Buck Meredith, Deputy Sheriff Dylan Bohn and GCDC Deputy Randy Burnett located a large quantity of methamphetamine, glass smoking pipes with residue, and other drug paraphernalia throughout the home.

Chief Meredith said the amount of meth found inside the residence was the largest quantity of the drug his department has seized at one location.

As a result, police arrested Tilford Caswell, of Owensboro, and charged him with trafficking in a controlled substance (meth) and possession of a controlled substance (meth). Daniel Boone, of Leitchfield, was also arrested on a violation of an EPO/DVO warrant, which was unrelated to the search of the home.

Both men are being held in the Grayson County Detention Center.

The investigation continues by Chief Meredith, and additional arrests are expected to be made.
