Grow Grayson County: Building Personal Skills for Job Success Professional Etiquette Series

The Grayson County Extension Office will host the 3rd session in our new class series, “Grow Grayson County: Building Personal Skills for Job Success”. The January session will discuss professional etiquette in the work place. Classes are free and open to the public. You can register online on the link on our website at www.graysonext.org, or by calling the Extension Office at (270) 259-3492.

The January sessions will be held at 2:30 p.m., CST, via Zoom on the following schedule:

January Series – Professional Etiquette
January 19: Dining in Style – meets via Zoom.
January 26: Communicating Effectively – meets via Zoom.
February 2: Dressing for Success – meets via Zoom.

Etiquette is generally defined as conventional rules of polite behavior. Taking time to foster professional etiquette skills can give employees a competitive advantage in the workplace. The Professional Etiquette program develops participant etiquette skills regarding interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and clients as well as business or organization stakeholders. Employer and employee etiquette skills are critical for demonstrating professionalism and creating positive impressions. Specific skills include Dining in Style, Communicating Effectively, and Dressing for Success.
