Thursday night at 10:38, Kentucky State Police received a report of a four-vehicle accident on I-65, near mile marker 30 in Warren County.
Police said the collision involved two passenger vehicles and two commercial vehicles, and resulted in multiple fatalities.
Troopers and Commercial Vehicle Officers were on the scene late Thursday night and into Friday morning conducting a preliminary investigation into the collision.
Northbound lanes of I-65 near the area were closed for several hours. Authorities are not releasing further details at this time, but KSP said updates will follow.
