In Thursday night’s Leitchfield Utilities meeting, the Commission revealed the three bids received for a tool truck.
Of the three bids received, Dan Powers GM Center presented the least expensive at about $38,000, with Commissioners voting to accept the bid.
The bid was for a cab and chassis only; bids for the tool truck bed will be received separately.
Also, Chairman Bob Crawford said a one-call alert will be issued to citizens concerning the closing of a section of Wallace Avenue on Monday. The busy roadway will be closed from Thomason Avenue to Carroll Gibson Boulevard from Monday morning at 7:00 until 5:00 in the afternoon as Leitchfield Utilities lays a new sewer line.
