An apparent accidental shooting early Sunday morning has left one WKU student dead and another WKU student in jail.
The attorney for the man accused of accidentally shooting 21-year-old Kenneth “Alex” Davis told WBKO.com that 21-year-old Peter Gall, of Bowling Green, was “horsing around” with several other young men when a gun was brandished at a residence on Kenton Street. While Gall was handling the firearm, it accidentally discharged, striking Davis.
Davis was transported to The Medical Center but was later pronounced dead.
Gall was arrested and charged with second degree manslaughter and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Police said alcohol played a role in the shooting.
