At 2:20 Sunday afternoon, Kentucky State Police was notified of an airplane crash near Bewleytown Road, in the Fountain Run community of Barren County,
According to police, a single-engine aircraft struck multiple tree tops and then went nose down into the ground.
The four occupants of the plane were killed in the crash — 41-year-old Scott T. Foster, of Science Hill, 41-year-old Kyle P. Stewart, of Somerset, 40-year-old Quinton Whitaker, of Science Hill, and 15-year-old Noah Foster, who is Scott Foster’s son.
Three occupants were pronounced dead at scene by the Barren County Coroner’s Office, and a fourth, Noah Foster, was pronounced dead at The Medical Center in Bowling Green by the Warren County Coroner’s Office.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
