Saturday morning at approximately 3:05, Kentucky State Police was asked to investigate an officer involved shooting that occurred near the 13000 block of Nashville Road, in Warren County.
According to police, a Warren County sheriff’s deputy and Woodburn police became involved in a vehicle pursuit with 18-year-old Brian Calvert, of Scottsville. Police did not release what precipitated the pursuit.
At the end of the chase, Calvert sustained a fatal gunshot wound from one of the officers.
The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team is in the early stages of the preliminary investigation.
