
On Wednesday, Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on the William Natcher Parkway on a speeding motorist traveling nearly 90 mph.
After making contact with the driver, 32-year-old Curtis L. Maggard, of Joelton, Tennessee, police determined him to be in possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Maggard was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding 18 mph over limit.
He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but has since bonded out of custody.
