As previously reported by K105, the 16-year-old that went missing in November was located at a residence in Leitchfield on Friday night.

Terrance Boone was reported missing by a family member on November 13; he had been last seen on Nov. 12.  Sheriff Norman Chaffins said Boone maintained contact with family members while he was gone, and law enforcement believed that he was still in Grayson County.

Within two hours of a news release going out on December 8, Chaffins and Grayson County Central Dispatch began receiving calls on his whereabouts, according to Sheriff Chaffins. Leitchfield Police Officer Bart Glenn responded to a home behind Southgate Mall and located Boone hiding in the residence.

He was taken into custody and released back to his parents.

Chaffins, who did not release the names of the people who may have hid Boone, added “criminal charges are likely on whoever housed Boone while he was missing.”
