The Millwood man accused of sexually abusing a baby will have his case sent to the Grayson County Grand Jury.

James Dean Arme, 36, was arrested by Deputy Rance Whobrey and Kentucky State Police early Sunday morning, December 3, after police received information that Armes had sexually abused a baby. He was also wanted on misdemeanor warrants out of Cumberland County.

During his preliminary hearing yesterday, Deputy Whobrey testified to the images of child sexual abuse he observed on Armes’ cell phone upon his arrest.

Details of the crime are horrific and beyond description, and will not be published by K105.

Armes’ location was given to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office by his family members after they discovered the immensely disturbing images of Armes abusing the ten-month-old baby.

Armes, who is already listed on the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry, will have charges including first-degree sodomy (victim under the age of 12), first-degree sexual abuse (victim under the age of 12), possessing/viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, resisting arrest, and menacing, sent to the Grayson County Grand Jury.

He is currently being held in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Armes faces more than 70 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
