Douglas Ray “Pa” Green, age 60, of Grayson Springs, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 12, 2017) at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on July 31, 1957, in Clarkson, KY, the son of Dennis and Sally Logsdon Green.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed watching westerns.
He is survived by his wife, Sherresia Key Green, one daughter, Tara Pierce (John) and a son, Aaron Green (Sara) both of Leitchfield, a step-son, Lonnie Spears (Jill) of Irvington, KY, four grandchildren, Westyn, Jorja, Lexi and Brooklynn, two brothers James Green (Ina) of Leitchfield and Roy Green (Linda) of Millwood, KY and one sister, Helen Barrett (Butch) of Leitchfield.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by step granddaughter, Libby Spears.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (December 17, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Logsdon Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
