Bernie Lee Davis, 83, of Brownsville passed away at 7:48 AM Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was an iron worker, an Edmonson County Schools Bus Garage mechanic and a life-long farmer- he worked to live and lived to work, which is what made him happiest. He was a son of the late Homer Davis and Goldie Mae Davis.
Funeral will be at 12:00 Noon at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Thursday and 9 AM-9 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM Saturday at the church.
Surviving are his wife, Novice Spinks Davis; two sons, Matt Davis (Jennifer) and John Wayne Davis (Jenny) both of Brownsville; a brother, Roy Davis (Anna) of Brownsville; a sister, Doris Davis of Brownsville; five grandchildren, Emily, Savannah, Taylor, Wyatt and Trevor Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
