A Logan County man has been sentenced to 55-years in prison a day after being found guilty of killing his sister-in-law.
After a trial that lasted a week, a Logan County jury found 22-year-old George Walker, of Adairville, guilty of murder and tampering with evidence in the December 21, 2015 death of 23-year-old Allison Walker. George Walker admitted to killing his sister-in-law at the Conn Road home where she, her husband Chris Walker and George Walker lived.
Police said Allison Walker’s body was recovered behind her home, in Red River. Her body was wrapped in a tarp, with rope tied around her wrists and feet, according to media reports.
George Walker won’t be eligible for parole until serving 20 years.
