Two people, including a Leitchfield woman, have been jailed after police recovered a stolen vehicle in Edmonson County.

On Tuesday, Edmonson County deputies received information from Elizabethtown police about the possible location of a stolen 2006 Infiniti. Police said the vehicle could be in the area of Troy Goins Road, between Bee Spring and Broadway.

Edmonson County deputies responded to the area and located the stolen Infiniti parked behind a home, with police also locating 20-year-old Michael Snyder, of Rineyville, and 20-year-old Crystal Garcia, of Leitchfield, at the location, according to multiple media reports.

On Tuesday night, police executed a search warrant at the home and seized multiple bags of methamphetamine and synthetic marijuana.

Snyder and Garcia were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, trafficking in synthetic drugs and trafficking in a controlled substance (meth).

Both were lodged in the Hart County Jail where they are being held on $5,000 bonds.
