On Friday afternoon, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 10500 block of Hwy 185 on the report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found that 68-year-old Brenda Phelps, of Bowling Green, had been struck by a 2016 Nissan Altima, being driven by 31-year-old Melanie Willis, Brownsville, as Phelps was attempting to cross the roadway.
Phelps was transported to The Medical Center for treatment.
Willis and her juvenile passenger were uninjured.
