Madisonville woman arrested with quarter-ounce of meth, stolen firearm

Hopkins County law enforcement officials have arrested a woman on drug trafficking and gun charges at her Madisonville home.

As the result of an ongoing drug investigation, on Monday, authorities executed a search warrant at the residence of 26-year-old Jerica Anderson, of Madisonville. In the investigation, police said detectives utilized a confidential informant who previously purchased a quarter-ounce of methamphetamine from Anderson.

During a search of the residence, police discovered more than a quarter-ounce of meth and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Authorities also located a loaded firearm. The gun was later found to be stolen from Princeton, in Caldwell County.

Anderson was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), receiving stolen property (firearm) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
