Laurel Co. man arrested on nearly a dozen meth trafficking counts

On Friday morning, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested a London man on 11 counts of trafficking in methamphetamine.

Police arrested 51-year-old Raymond Lee Jones after he was indicted by the Laurel County Grand Jury. In addition to the drug trafficking charges, Jones was indicted for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, DUI and several failure to appear charges, according to authorities.

He was lodged in Laurel County Corrections on a $25,000 cash bond.
