Over a dozen food service employees across metro Louisville have been diagnosed with Hepatitis A since health officials declared an outbreak in November. They are part of the more than 300 cases confirmed in Louisville within the past six months.

In total, over 400 people have been diagnosed with the virus across Kentucky. There has been one confirmed case of Hepatitis A in Grayson County.

The Louisville restaurants previously reported to have had employees test positive for the virus are now some of the cleanest restaurants in the city, according to health officials, but in the last few weeks, three more eateries have experienced employees testing positive for Hepatitis A.

Health officials said anyone patronizing the following Louisville restaurants within the past two weeks is urged to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine:

  • Bearno’s, located at 9222 Westport Road
  • Panera, located at 1801 Rudy Lane
  • Mark’s Feed Store, located at 11422 Shelbyville Road
