We all know that moms are the best and we want to make sure they feel special, loved, taken care of, appreciated, and a whole slew of other forms of gratitude on their special day, but sometimes having that “Wow! That’s the gift!” moment is hard to come by. So, after some research and thoughtful pondering, I have compiled a list of the best gifts for your mom. Check it out!
- Pampering products: Cucumber facial kit, pink nail polish, moisturizing lotion and sunless tanner. Fix your mom up with a “It’s All About You” care package this Mother’s Day.
- Home decor: Help Mom spruce up some of her favorite spaces by getting her some nice wall art or throw pillows. An added bonus, she will think of you every time she sees them!
- Supplies to fund her favorite DIY activities: My mother-in-law loves embroidery and sewing, so my husband I had the idea to load her up with new fabric, thread, patterns, etc. It’s nice way to support her hobby and keep her from having to pay for her own supplies.
- A new outfit to wear on Mother’s Day and show off to all her friends: My mom is getting two new outfits this Mother’s Day! Something that she can wear and show off to all her gal pals. New additions to her wardrobe are always a good choice.
- Custom jewelry: Jewelry is never a bad pick, but make it personal by getting it engraved or including family birth stones. A little something special that Mom can hold next to her heart.
- A new Best Seller: There is something so sweet about someone buying you a new book. A testament that says they know you so fully that they know what you will enjoy. Show mom you care with this super personal gift that she will love!
- A night out that is ALL about her: Maybe your mom isn’t really into gifts and would rather have experiences to remember, if so, take her out to her favorite restaurant, the movie of her choice, and finish the evening with a visit to her favorite ice cream shop.

- Flowers for her garden: This is one of my mom’s favorite gifts to receive, actually, she always puts in a request for new flowers every year. Pay attention to your mom’s favorite colors and get flowers to match. Plus, if you get bulbs that return each year, you are providing her with a gift that will keep on giving for many Springs to come.
- Makeup: Most women will tell you that they love makeup, but hate buying it for themselves, and if I had to guess, your mom would feel the same way. Have a sales consultant at the makeup counter help you pick out the shades and styles that your mom is sure to love and make her look even more beautiful than she already is.
Mother’s Day is such an important holiday because it gives us kids the opportunity to pay back a very very small portion of what we owe to our moms for the unconditional love and affection they have always provided us with. Be sure to give this holiday the utmost attention and prep because she I mean, who are we kidding, she deserves it!
