Kentucky State Police searching for two suspects after bank robbery in Flaherty

On Tuesday afternoon at approximately 1:00, Kentucky State Police responded to a report of a bank robbery in Flaherty, in Meade County, about 12 miles west of Radcliff.

Police said the robbery occurred at WesBanco Bank, located at 4055 Flaherty Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that two unknown suspects entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers. One of the suspects was brandishing a firearm.

The suspects then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash in what is believed to be a white 2017 Hyundai Elantra, according to Kentucky State Police.

One suspect is described as a white male standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and baseball hat with a white shirt tied around his face. Police did not offer a description of the second suspect.
