Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects accused of using skimming devices in Wayne and Pulaski Counties.
On Saturday, a skimming device was found at a bank ATM in Monticello. Police watched surveillance video and saw a man place the device on the ATM. A woman came back hours later to recover the skimmer.
State police then discovered the pair placed two skimming devices on ATMs at banks in Pulaski County.
To see the two suspects visit K105.com or the K105 Facebook page, and anyone with information on the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Kentucky State Police at 606-878-6622 or 1-800-222-5555.
Skimming devices are card readers attached to payment terminals at gas stations and ATMs to gather data from every person that swipes their cards. With the harvested information, the thief can then create cloned cards, or enter victims’ bank accounts.
