Tuesday night at approximately 11:30, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic safety checkpoint on Louisville Road, near Otter Gap.
Police said during the checkpoint, three vehicles were stopped for traffic violations that were elevated to drug charges.
One of those arrested was 24-year-old Kimberly Ann Chapman, of Caneyville, who was charged with possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A passenger in Chapman’s vehicle, 25-year-old Erik Harley Anderson, of Bee Spring, was charged with giving an officer false identifying information, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served with a probation violation warrant as well as a failure to appear warrant out of Hardin County.
Ginger Daniels, 30, of Bowling Green, was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and tampering with physical evidence, while 34-year-old Melinda Whitaker, of Louisville, was arrested on three warrants for theft by deception.
All four were lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail but only Anderson is still listed as an inmate.
