A 2-year-old toddler has died after shooting himself in the head.
Officials said Montreal Dunn died at Norton Children’s Hospital Thursday night. The toddler accidentally shot himself Wednesday morning at about 10:30 in the 1700 block of S. 32nd Street in Louisville. The toddler was transported to the hospital in a Louisville Metro Police cruiser.
It’s unclear how the toddler came into contact with the firearm.
Authorities said no charges are expected to be filed.
