BBB Presents the 2018 Student Video and Poster Contest to High School Students, $5,000 Scholarship Monies to be Awarded

BBB serving Louisville, Southern Indiana, and Western Kentucky is now accepting submissions for the 2018 BBB Student Video and Poster Contest. This scholarship opportunity is sponsored by Sullivan University and BBB Consumer Education Fund (CEF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

This contest is open for all public and private high school students (grades 9-12) in BBB’s service area in the following counties in Kentucky: Adair, Ballard, Barren, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Carroll, Crittenden, Daviess, Edmondson, Fulton, Graves, Grayson, Green, Hancock, Hardin, Hart, Henry, Hickman, Hopkins, Jefferson ,Larue, Livingston, Lyon, McCracken, McLean, Marion, Marshall, Meade, Metcalf, Muhlenburg, Nelson, Ohio, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Taylor, Trimble, Warren, Washington, and Webster; and the following counties in Indiana: Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Scott, and Washington.

Scholarship money will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in two categories: video (PSA or short film, 30-60 seconds in length) and poster (graphic design or visual art). In addition, a “Public’s Choice” winner will also be decided through BBB’s social media. All entries must follow the theme of “Trust.” A total of over $5,000 of scholarship money will be divided among this year’s winners.

Deadline for entries is September 28, 2018 at 4:30pm. Winning students will be invited to the 2018 Torch Awards for Ethics luncheon on November 1, 2018, to receive their awards.
