The Cougar golf teams celebrated their two seniors, Nathan Keys and Lincoln Nichols, on Senior Night, then proceeded to play boys and girls matches against visiting Breckinridge County at the Lafayette Golf Club.

The boys won their match 162-198, while the girls tied at 159 apiece. Normally, the score is taken by the lowest five players, but Breck has just four girls on their team and one of them was ineligible for this match, so just the top three scores were taken.

Sophomore Jaxon Higdon led the way for the Cougars, firing an even-par 36. Grant Manion and Nichols both shot 40, Keegan Sharp had a 46 and Keys came in at 47.

Briley Berry led the Lady Cougars with 51, Sophia Elmore had a 52, Shelby Pierce shot 56, Samantha Milliner had a 58, and Abigail Garrett shot 59.
