Kenneth Gene French, 79, of Leitchfield died Friday, September 21, 2018, in Louisville. He was born September 7, 1939 to Elzie and Lucille Vance French in Barren County, Ky.
He is survived by his wife and best friend Arita; two children, Heather Kulowski (Jason) and Mike French of Connecticut; two step-sons: Barry Embry (Beverly) and Larry Embry (Patti) of Leitchfield; four step-grandchildren: Caitlyn Howell (Alex), Ross, Samuel and Joshua Embry; one step-great grandchild, Brady Howell; and two brothers: William French (Connie) and Jackie French (Lisa). He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert French.
He was a retired machinist. He was a member and standing elder of the Leitchfield First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Visitation with the family will be held at the Leitchfield First Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, September 25, from 3-4pm. A memorial service will be held at 4pm.
