Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins has announced November dates for his office’s Mobile Property Tax Collection service:
- Saturday, November 3 at the Rough River Lake Lodge from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Saturday, November 10 at the old Caneyville School (aka the Old Caneyville School Purple Flash Community Center) from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Saturday, November 17 at Clarkson Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Saturday, November 24 at the Anneta Firehouse from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“This service offers Grayson County citizens the opportunity to pay their property taxes without having to travel to Leitchfield to pay them,” Chaffins said. “All you need to do is bring in a copy of your tax bill along with your payment and we will take it from there. The sheriff’s office in Leitchfield will also be open during the same time on each Saturday in November.”
Citizens may also pay taxes online or through the mail.
