
A Smiths Grove man is in critical condition after his live-in girlfriend shot him multiple times.
On Thursday morning at approximately 8:45, Kentucky State Police responded to 818 College Street, in Smiths Grove, in reference to a shooting. Upon troopers arriving on the scene, they found that 64-year-old Stevie Flynn, of Smiths Grove, been shot multiple times. Another subject, 52-year-old Candy A. Moss, also of Smiths Grove, was also present in the home.
Kentucky State Police said the preliminary investigation revealed Moss shot Flynn multiple times during an early morning domestic dispute.
Flynn was transported to a local hospital and was later airlifted to a Nashville trauma center. He is currently in critical condition.
Moss was arrested and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail where she’s been charged with first-degree assault (domestic violence) and tampering with physical evidence.
The investigation is ongoing and being led by KSP Detective Joe Gregory.
