An intoxicated Leitchfield woman has been arrested after running a vehicle off the road before driving into a ditch in Big Clifty.
Thursday afternoon at approximately 5:45, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Fred Norder responded to the 9800 block of Elizabethtown Road on the report of a westbound motorist, 43-year-old Jennifer L. Rainey, driving into a roadside ditch in front of the Big Clifty Dollar General Store.
Upon his arrival, Norder discovered Rainey was under the influence of alchohol and had also run a motorist off the roadway.
Rainey was arrested and charged with her second DUI since February 2017, second-degree wanton endangerment and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. She was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
