A man already convicted of child rape is facing many more years in prison after being found guilty of promoting and possessing child porn, rape and sodomy.

Matthew Bucher, 31, of Fort Mitchell, who was already serving 45-years in prison for raping a 12-year-old girl, has now been convicted of raping a 15-year-old girl after he posed as a teenager when he was 27-years-old. Media outlets report that police found images of Bucher and the victim in sex acts prior to the victim’s sixteenth birthday, Kentucky’s age of consent.

Most recently, Bucher was found guilty of 30 counts of promoting a sexual performance by a minor, 30 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy.

In his latest trial, the jury recommended Bucher serve an additional 15-years in prison.

Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders told local media outlets that Bucher is “quite possibly the most prolific child molester of Kenton County.”

Bucher has been indicted in two more child sex-related cases, with more indictments possible, according to police.
