
Five people have been jailed on drug charges after police found methamphetamine and cash while searching a Horse Cave home.
The Hart County Sheriff’s Office said that late Tuesday night, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force and Kentucky State Police searched a home on Flint Ridge Road, in Horse Cave. Police located a “large amount of crystal meth and over $7,500 in cash,’ along with a handgun.
Five suspects were charged, including:
- Charles Wease, 58, of Horse Cave, and Leroy Jones, 66, of Upton, were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
- Christy Cunningham, 45, of Horse Cave, and Stephanie Ann Palmer, 42, of Horse Cave, were charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Jesse Trent, 54, of Horse Cave, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
All five suspects were lodged in the Hart County Jail.
