
A Rosine man has been arrested on Florida warrants charging him with child molestation.
On Wednesday afternoon at approximately 2:30, Kentucky State Police and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested 29-year-old William D. Lacey III at a residence in the 9000 block of Hwy 62 in Rosine.
Lacey was charged with being a fugitive from another state after he failed to appear to on charges including three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and possession of a sexual performance of a child.
The alleged crimes occurred in Bay County, Florida in November 2017.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office told Mypanhandle.com that Lacey took photographs of a naked 12-year-old girl whose chest and genitals were covered in body paint. He also admitted to police that he sexually assaulted the child more than once in October 2017.
Lacey is being held in the Ohio County Detention Center awaiting extradition to Florida.
