Tollie Hack Jr., age 74, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Monday, (May 27, 2019) at his home.
He was born on January 26, 1945 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Tollie Sr. and Beulah Wilson Hack.
A Veteran of the United States Navy, he was a carpenter who enjoyed hunting, gardening, playing poker & riding motorcycles and was a member of the Ohio County VFW 5766 and a lifelong member of The Hunter’s Association.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Newton of Short Creek, KY; three sisters, Margaret Farris of Leitchfield, Melvinia Wilson of New Albany, IN and Helen Farris of Caneyville. Three nieces, Margie Farris, Barbara Bratcher and Alisa Givens; and seven nephews, Gilbert Wilson, Chris Wilson, Donnie Farris, Anthony Farris, Michael Campbell, Russell Hack and Karl Hack also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Joy Eileen Hardin; a brother, James Frank Hack; and a sister, Millie Jean Campbell Porter.
Cremation was chosen and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
