Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:45, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Clarkson Fire Department and EMS responded to the 116 mile marker of eastbound Western Kentucky Parkway on the report of a single-car accident.
Upon arriving at the scene, Deputy Rance Whobrey and Special Deputy Allen Keown found that a Chevrolet Impala, being driven by a Tennessee woman, hydroplaned on the wet roadway. As the driver lost control, the Chevy clipped the end of a guardrail before flipping onto its top and into a ditch.
The driver, whose identity was not available at the scene, was transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
