Kentucky State Police says a domestic violence incident led to the death of two women found in LaRue County, and one person in Louisville.

Monday morning at approximately 8:00, authorities responded a structure fire on River Road, in northwestern LaRue County, and discovered two bodies. The body of 39-year-old Nicole Murray, of New Haven, was located in a vehicle next to the burned mobile home. She had been shot twice.

The dismembered body of 33-year-old Brittany Wilson, of Louisville, was located in a freezer inside the mobile home. Police believe Wilson was killed at a residence at 6004 Ashby Lane, in the Valley Station area of Louisville, sometime prior to Monday and moved to LaRue County and placed in a freezer at the River Road residence.

The body of the suspect was located inside the residence at 6004 Ashby Lane. Police said after killing the two women, the suspect contacted a family member and confessed to the killings before then killing him or herself.

KSP is awaiting positive identification from the State Medical Examiner’s office before the name of the suspect is released.

The death investigations continue and are being led by the Louisville Metro Police Department and Kentucky State Police.
