
On Monday, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police and Kentucky Department of Corrections culminated an investigation into the sale and/or consumption of methamphetamine in the Fordsville and Olaton communities.
According to Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty, authorities gained entry into the Fordsville residence of 58-year-old Louis Canary, where police located methamphetamine and multiple items of meth-related drug paraphernalia.
Canary and three other suspects were arrested — 38-year-old Chad Harley, 48-year-old Larenda Reinus and 36-year-old Jennifer Billareal.
Canary, Harley and Billareal were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Reinus was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also on Monday, Beatty said police made entry into the Olaton residence of 45-year-old Susan Baran, where authorities found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Baran was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All five suspects were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center. Only Baran remains incarcerated.
