A Logan County mother has been arrested after a 13-year-old was hospitalized after using methamphetamine.
Dana Johnson, 35, of Russellville, was arrested Friday after a 13-year-old child was admitted to a hospital after snorting methamphetamine on a school bus, according to media reports. The child was given the methamphetamine by Johnson’s son.
The investigation into the incident led police to Johnson’s Sportsman Club Road residence where authorities seized approximately seven grams of methamphetamine and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
Johnson was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She’s being held in the Logan County Detention Center.
