A wallet left behind after a Hardin County home invasion has led to the arrest of a teenage suspect.

Maurice M. Walters, 18, of Radcliff, was arrested after his wallet was found at the scene of a Hillcrest Drive home invasion, in Radcliff. Police said Walters and at least one other suspect entered the home after a female set up a meeting with the male resident via social media, according to The News-Enterprise. As the female entered the residence, at least two male suspects forced their way inside.

Walters and his accomplices held the occupants at gunpoint while demanding money. A physical altercation then occurred, with Walters’ pants torn during the fight. As he fled the home, his wallet, with identification, fell out of his pants.

He was served with a first-degree robbery warrant on Friday at the Hardin County Detention Center where he was lodged earlier in the day on an unrelated criminal mischief charge. Walters admitted to committing the robbery while being questioned by police.

He is being held on a $10,000 cash bond. Additional arrests are expected.
